Kejriwal: Why did he fail in the court of the people?

Arvind Kejriwal, who had made his mark as the "messiah of the people" by becoming a new face in Indian politics, is not living up to that trust in the court of the people today.

Kejriwal, who had started many public welfare schemes as the Chief Minister of Delhi, had once received immense support from the people. But today he is not living up to the expectations of the same people who brought him to power.

Difference between promises and reality: Kejriwal had raised his voice against corruption and transparency when he entered politics. He had promised the people that his government would be accountable to the people and every decision would be transparent. But with time, a deep gap developed between these promises and reality. The allegations of corruption during his reign have tarnished his honest image, due to which the trust of the people is breaking.

Political blame game: Kejriwal started his political career by criticizing the policies and leaders of other parties, but now he himself has become a part of the same political game. Whenever an issue is raised, Kejriwal mostly tries to blame the central government, the lieutenant governor or other opposition parties, rather than accepting his own responsibility. The public expects accountability from a leader, but Kejriwal has failed this test many times.

Distancing from public issues: Initially, Kejriwal focused on basic issues like electricity, water, education and health, which earned him widespread support from the public. But in the last few years, his grip on these issues seems to be loosening. Instead of fulfilling the promises made to the public, he is mostly seen focusing on publicity and advertisements. There is a huge difference between the big claims made by him and the ground reality, which the public has now started recognizing.

The claim of clean politics weakened: At one time, Kejriwal's party was known as an example of 'clean politics'. But now many of his own leaders and MLAs have been found involved in corruption, anarchy and unethical activities. This has severely affected Kejriwal's image, and the public has stopped seeing him as the ideal leader he was earlier.

Arvind Kejriwal is failing in the court of the people because he has not lived up to his promises and the expectations of the people.

The lack of transparency and accountability in his government has weakened the trust of the people.

The people want work, not promises, Kejriwal has to understand this!
